 Fourth Grade

Welcome to Fourth Grade!

Welcome to the South Anna 4th Grade home page!  Students in fourth grade spend the majority of their days with their homeroom teacher.  The students may, however, switch classes for mathematics based on their “pre-view” score for each strand. The students will be taking the Virginia Studies, Math, and Reading SOL’s in May!  Fourth Grade students participate in S.O.D.A (Student Organization for Developing Attitudes).  Selected students from Patrick Henry High School visit once a month and present lessons dealing with issues such as self-esteem and teamwork to their assigned class.

Students will be completing 1 – 2 major projects throughout the entire year. Homework will then be adjusted accordingly.
